INTRO LOG
ARRIVAL
Quark meets Ferdinand von Aegir. They talk about the statues, and about planets and aliens and space, to Ferdie's disbelief.
Quark startles Ai in the pantry. Babygirl is going through it.
Vanity offers Quark a handshake, which he accepts. They talk about their things being stolen, and how they might be able to be used as collateral.
Quark meets Snow White in the hallway and immediately turns on the charm.
A discussion of the barrir with Misane Mikoto quickly turns to a discussion of self depreciation and the confidence need for God-like powers.
Ranma is checking out his statue. Quark waves off his concern at first, but then gets annoyed when Ranma makes fun of Quark's statue.
Wendy is standing near the edge of the forest. She explains what a wolf is to Quark, who makes a joke about Klingons.
Cerejiera asks if the sky looks like an ill omen. Quark brushes this off, throwing in some Ferengi words for rain. He finds out Cerejiera isn't a human exactly but she's not a hologram either, and there's something about a moon made of paper?? Also the Earth is bleached. Wild stuff.
Riful is hanging out near the barrier, Quark answers a question.
Aoi is looking for her cell phone. Quark doesn't know what that is, and asks her if she's a new species of hyu-mon.
Quark spots Alex starting to freak out by the bonfire. He similarily freaks out a bit more when he sees Quark. They talk about aliens, and time travel, and Alex gets excited. Quark is particularly charmed by Alex's flattery.
Leb is in the hallway, not looking so good.
Luna is checking out her statue and more importantly, the statues of others.
HOST
Vanity and Quark talk about changlings, and make a note to come back to nanites later.
Quark meets Athena, and she offers him a copy of the contract that he signed with her. He invites her for a tour around the stars of his universe after this is all over.
Athena reveals that it was not her that brought in the statues. Which is...concerning.
Ferdinand reveals that he was close to death on the battlefield when Athena took him. Quark doesn't see any reason why he shouldn't have accepted the help.
Aoi offers to recharge Astarion's battery. Quark doesn't think that's the best idea, but is surprised to hear it.
Quark gives Vanity shit for her lack of tact when dealing with Alex.
There's a lot of weird things out there, so Death is pretty believable. Cerejiera agrees, and she makes a joke that makes Quark laugh.
Quark confirms that he does believe Alex about death, then ribs him when he starts crying.
Vanity asks for more information about the Mirror Universe, and Quark acquiesces. They talk about the differences in their Earths.
WEEK 1
Monday
Ferdinand is trying to memorize everyone's profiles. Quark goes over to talk to him about a partnership.
Quark has trouble in the kitchen. Aoi and Lebkuchen make a trio with not a single braincell between them, accidentally start a fire in the kitchen, and have to be rescued by Cerejeira and Alex. Vanity makes a crack about tact and then shows Quark how to make spaghetti on the stove. Ranma warns him against hearing loss via yelling at the stove too much. Alex informs him that the yelling won't work at all. In the scroll room, Quark and Manulov talk about the merits of organization. Quark and Zvei get acquainted. Misane asks about his sorting critera. Crito makes a nuisance of themself. Cerejeira askes about sorting, and Quark dumps the bulk of the work on her. Athena answers Quarks invitation to go for a walk and some cultural exchange.
Tuesday
Ranma is doing some meditation. Quark interrupts.
Ai wonders if there's anyone else out there.
Lebkuchen offers some baked goods for people to try. Quark readily accepts.
Wednesday
Quark and Vanity host a meeting in the Eatery, with help in prep, setup, and inviting from several quarters. People introduce themselves, talk about their powers and domains, and the possibility of another person. Midway through, Omega shows up by busting a hole in the wall of the Eatery and firing bullets once hostility is met with hostility. He's eventually brought down by Luna, Ranma and Vanity, and calmed down by Velvet. During the meeting Quark learns about Ferdinand's general status and how he got it, teases Cerejeira, talks to Vanity about the Klingons and invites her to take a peek at his world when she expresses interest. Once Omega pops in, Quarks is diving under the table with Alex and Lebkuchen. As the fighting continues, he tries to calm Alex down, which ends up in him activating a force field--part of his powers. He brings Leb in as well, and the two of them help him figure out how to keep the barrier up. Quark pauses to yank Cerejeira into the force field as well, just as debris comes down on top of them.
Thursday
Capitalism begins! Quark opens up his shop to sell regains for tokens in the morning and changes the Eatery into a bar in the evening. Aoi discovers something upsetting in the Shop. Ferdinand visits the bar, Quark makes him a drink, and they talk about magic. Cerejeira stops in, Quark makes her a drink, and she gives him a little extra as a "thank you," which he promptly teases her for. Vanity also stops in to say hello.
Friday
Alex sorts through his cornucopia haul. Quark takes a look.
Athena studies and gently touches the broken statue near the cornucopia. Quark asks if it was someone she knew.
Event
A fissure appears in the earth. A few people go to check it out. Omega goes to fly into the fissure, but decides, after some heckling, to take Cerejeira and Quark with him. This does not Go Well, as skeletal soldiers start pouring out and attacking. Omega shields Quark and Cerejeira with his body, leading the skeletons to pile on top of him while his two unwitting passangers freak out. Quark finally manages to get his force field up, which knocks off the soldiers, allowing Omega to fly them out and return them to the barrier. Afterwards, Quark lets Omega have it, telling him that he doesn't want him anywhere near him ever again. He also gets snappy at several other people, and especially Athena. However, he deflates a little, once Athena tells him that this wasn't something that she was aware of either. They get more information on the Titan and the situation. Ferdinand accompanies Quark to his bar, and the two of them and Cerejeira help him set up.
Quark opens up the bar. Ferdinand wants a coffee drink, something that reminds him of someone from home, and to help him focus. Cerejeira can't do this, and Quark comes to a realization. Misane would like to try a non-alcoholic cocktail. Alex got cut up while following Misane into the fray, but is doing better after Zvei looked at him. Astarion brings a new ingredient to the bar. Quark and Vanity discuss the current situation and the likihood of being able to bargain with the Titan (not happening.) Luna wants to look at the spirits. Sayo is just happy there's finally alcohol in the bar. Velvet stops in for a bitter drink, and they talk briefly about the whole bleeding thing that happens when she uses her powers, but she closes off when he asks why relationships are bad for her.
Quark goes to check in on Lebkuchen, and it turns out she was trapped in her room during the vent. They talk about why she's not going back home, even after this.
Week 2
Sunday
Athena sends off a bird for help. Quark comments that a combadge would be faster.
Monday
Quark comes into the bar to find the tongo board spinning. At first he almost thinks it's Jadzia, but quickly realizes it couldn't be. He follows sounds to the kitchen, discovering the Winions: fluffy little creatures left to Athena by her brother. They take to Quark pretty quickly as he teaches them Tongo. Other people come into the bar, including Omega with guns drawn (Quark yells at him, Omega ignores him.) Athena shows up to explain and makes to take them out, Quark says they're fine and she leaves them.
Tuesday
Typon announces the first motive for murder. Quark hides in his room, and Cerejeira takes his scroll for him.
Athena visits the bar. Quark makes her a drink, and they talk about Typon and the Weapon Athena is going to go search for.
Alex visits the bar to deliver a box of slugs. Quark makes him a Safe-tea.
Cerejeira delivers Quark's motive. He needs a drink. They talk about how this is like a holy grail war and how Cerejeira won the last one.
Ferdinand visits the bar. Quark makes him a Nobili-tea, and asks him about learning magic.
Luna visits the bar. They talk about Zubats and putting aside emergency supplies.
Wednesday
Quark puts up posters for a get together in the bar on Thursday. Crito asks what he's doing. Zvei picks up his gem. Quark returns a doll to Leb.
CW: DISCUSSION OF SEX, PORN AND AUTONOMY Aoi stops by to pay her tab and order a drink. Quark makes her a bloody mary, and they talk about her CGs and what she wants.
Thursday
Alex find's Quark setting up his girlfriend's statue in the bar. He freaks out a bit, so Quark puts the cost on his tab and helps him take it to his room.
Luna does some dreamwalking and stumbles into Quark's dream.
During the get together at the bar, Athena makes an announcement that she's leaving. Afterwards, Quark makes her a drink.
Aglaea stops by the bar during the event and Quark makes her something sweet.
Investigation
Quark does leave his room but when Crito's clay body is found, he doesn't investigate.
Trial
Quark discusses the situation with everyone. He and Cerejeira comment on everyone's posturing at Typhon. Sayo tells them about her Red and Blue Text. Finally, it comes out that Crito tried to drop a frying pan on her, and she didn't like their excuses so she went after them and killed them. Quark gets frustrated about it and he and Vanity argue.
Afterparty
Quark goes around and talks to several people and delivers some drinks.
Week 3
Monday
Quark gets some regains, including a dog who he's hopes suspects might be Odo but isn't. Alex picks up the dog (it's his girlfriend's) and returns Quark's cardassian vole to him. Quark also finds Ai to give her back the picture of her with her kids. Cerejeira catches him talking to the dog.
Ferdie visits the bar to teach Quark the basics of magic.
Misane visits the bar and they chat about the lollipops from The Son.
Tuesday
Typhon offers to reverse an event if someone gets away with murder. Quark hides in his room.
Wednesday
There's a cyclopse attack downstairs! Quark reluctantly follows in his pajamas when he sees that Certain People are going down, even if they're non-combatants. When the cyclops appears, he turns to make a run for it and go back upstairs. Unfortunately, both Cerejeira and Alex eat shit, and he very reluctantly turns around to run back in and cover for them with the force field. He keeps this up while Cerejeira admits she misses curry, and Alex full on wordvomit traumadumps. Fortunately, this keeps the force field up while the cyclops starts hurling pieces of statue. Unfortunately, on the next turn, Quark notices Aoi not looking so good and gets distracted into dropping the force fiel. Fortunately, Aoi provides an assist and he pops it back up to cover him, Cerejeira and Aoi just as the others destroy the cyclops' eye, saving the three of them from being splashed in eye goo as the cyclops is felled and killed.
Thursday
Alex gets Quark's replicator in his regains.
Quark, Wendy and Vanity hold a meeting. They talk about the doubt that Typhon can actually accomplish any of what the promises or threatens. Riful fills them in on what's in the Forest and why it's got bad juju. There's a discussion about working on their God powers, as well as possible combat training. Quark isn't too enthusiastic about the latter. Quark learns about Luna's dreamwalking powers and seems to remember something. He then teases Cerejeira about her powers, so she makes a raincloud over his head and makes Alex panic. Wendy tries to move all of the rain on the floor but ends up splashing Seymour. Riful tells people that she can sense their energy, and informs Quark that his is warm and bright, to his protests. He then gets several people telling him that makes sense, and he is Very Embarrassed. Quark talks to Velvet about her ability to enchant items, and Vanity about her tape recorder voice.
Vanity stops by the bar and wants to know why Quark is so hesitant about learning combat training.
Cerejeira catches Quark working on his magic circle at the bar, and they talk about how magic works in her world.
Investigation
A looney tunes olive oil slip-and-slide comedy becomes a tragedy after the group hears a loud bang from downstairs, startling the horses into running upstairs and causes the group to investigate. Alex slides in first, slamming into the wall and knocking down a shelf and upsetting a heavy box of tools and sharp chisels right on top of him. The group rushes to help, getting their own slip-and-slide moments, including the healers, but they're too late. Alex dies in front of all of them. Quark stands off to the side with Vanity, unable to do anything, even as Cerejeira calls for him to do something. Typon makes an announcement, and he and Vanity go to inspect the Lift Room.
After the investigating is done and most everyone is headed towards the Arena, Quark goes to say goodbye to Alex, providing him with all the profit from the bar in order to make sure he has enough, just in case. Vanity talks to him about religion. Aglaea has a similar custom. Seymour apologizes for interrupting.
Trial
The group discusses what could have happened. Quark refuses that it was suicide. Finally, Wendy confesses to the crime in order to try and revive her sister. Quark is angry, and lets her have her hysterical moment. He also votes for Cerejeira when she can't.
Afterparty
Quark announces that the bar's open again. He leads Cerejeira away and coopts Ferdinand for to help move the bar and to bartend. He will end up regretting this. Meanwhile, he goes to retrieve Fritz and ends up finding Alex's dead letters, as well as Critwo, Alex's attempt to revive Crito. He returns with Critwo and Fritz and the letters and hands them out. He talks to Cerejeira about the unfairness, and how Wendy stole Alex's second chance. Vanity gives him some nice coffee to charge extra for. Ranma makes okonomiyaki and Quark hires him to be the bar cook. Leb reveals some information about her past and what she really is. Quark challenges Luna about who keeps an eye on her dreams. He delivers Alex's letter to Misane as well as Eye-lex. Finally, he cleans up the greasy Winions.
Week 4
Sunday
Quark asks Ferdinand to help him move Clear's sculpture next to Alex's. He brushe's off Ferdinand's initial question as to how he's managing. They get the sculpture out and set up. Quark says he has to manage, and Ferdinand tells him he can rest because they're adults. Quark is like lol, and tells him about Nog and the Valiant. Ferdinand mistakes Quark's meaning, and Quark clarifies, telling him he doesn't have to go back home. Ferdinand tells him more about the war. Quark then goes to talk to Velvet about her whole "shoudln't be in genuine relationships with the living" thing, and then they talk about Ferdinand's crush (to Velvet's shock.) They also talk a little bit about the people she knows where she comes from. Quark also investigates and finds a humming statue. Misane stops by the pantry to help. Luna visits his dream.
Omega stops by the bar and fixes the replicator while Quark gets him some oil.
Tuesday
Typhon drops another motive, this time to undo someone's greatest shame, or have it shown to all if no one is murdered. Quark doesn't hide, just makes some snide comments.
Wednesday
Quark catches Ferdinand in the kitchen making lemon tarts, having made a mess of himself. Apparently they were for a tea date with Velvet.
Aoi and Quark host a meeting to update everyone. Quark talks about making groups for exploration and about handing that off to someone else, to search for this "center" that Athena told Aoi about through her transmission. Quark is dismissive about the motive, and he mentions the statue in the library, which he means to take Seymour to afterwards.
Thursday
Quark gets a bunch of stuff from the Cornucopia, including some plushies of people that Ranma knows. He then goes and checks in with Aoi and Cerejeira.
Velvet gets a crystal that will help her with her crafting (Quark wonders about the doll she was working on.) She also got the Rules of Acquisition!
Leb gets the red shoes. Quark offers to get rid of them.
Investigation
Leb discovers Ai in her room with a green ribbon around her neck. As she walks in a daze and paws at it, it comes off, and she dies from a wound in her neck in front of Leb, who screams.
Trial
After some debate and discussions of magic, Ferdinand's hand check for people's fingernails also includes Snow White's mouse, revealing that that's how she got Ai to answer her door. Snow tells them they're all doomed by the Authors who have abandoned them to this place. Quark rejects that entirely.
Afterparty
Quark opens up the bar with Aoi and Cerejeira behind the counter, Vanity on coffee duty, Ferdinand at the Dabo table, and Ranma making food for everyone. Quark runs around as usual, serving drinks and checking on his staff. Vanity tells him to slow down. Cerejeira has a panic attack and then they talk about the Rules. Aglaea needs more togas. Misane has a question. Feridnand can't sleep. Aoi wants to search for that happy ending.
Week 5
Sunday
Quark discovers a bar on the new floor and is quite excited. Vanity has an idea to turn the Eatery into a cafe next. Luna gives him a hand moving. Misane talks about the invitability of the bar getting trashed. An investigation doesn't turn up too much.
A craft room appears for Aglaea! Quark stops in to comment and ask her to make a suit for him.
Monday
Quark gets some regains, including Ferdinand's spear, one of Zvei's gems, Aglaea's sword, Astarion's artifact, and Manulov's pet bee.
At the sleepover, Riful seems to be eyeing the replicator with interest.
At the sleepover, Quark and Aglaea observe the kids playing Hot or Not.
Luna is up late at the sleepover, watching over the dreamers.
Tuesday
The motive is similar to last week, but this time with the added threat of showing everyone your greatest shame.
Velvet visits the bar. They share their motives, and then talk about Quark inviting Ferdinand to the station, and that she's welcome to come as well.
Cerejeira comes to the bar and replicates herself a drink. She and Quark discuss their motives and the people they've lost.
Wednesday
The group find a stone Laurie outside the bar! The bar is being invaded by harpies and birds and a Gorgon. The group fights them off, only for a strange Odysseus to appear and attack them. They fight him back, before he bows and vanishes. Quark protects Cerejeira and Leb, and heals Cerejeira and Vanity.
After the fight, Quark spots Velvet heading to the washroom with her hands bleeding. He offers her some rags and opens the door to the washroom for her, and they talk about her situation while her hands run under the water in the sink.
Thursday
Quark gets a model of DS9 from Omega's regain pile.
Investigation
Misane is found dead in the hallway in front of Ferdinand's door. Musume/Mortis is found dead in Ai's room. And Aglaea is found dead in her workshop. Quark makes sure Misane and Aglaea have enough for their respective trips in the afterlife.
Trial
The group go around and around, trying to figure out who could have killed everyone. Ferdinand asks Leb what happens with her plants, and she gets angry and slaps him, before breaking down. Omega is acting weird. Cerejeira points out the short list of people that could have done this. Quark narrows it down even further to one person: Zvei. He insists on doing a more thorough check of Zvei's person for his tentacles. Zvei acquiesces, and when it becomes obvious that his tentacles were the perfec size, he takes Quark as a hostage. Several people take exception to this, as Zvei challenges them to find the conclusion of why he did what he did. They finally find out that it is because Typhon promised him the return of his memories. Cerejeira, having enough, nearly strikes Seymour with lightning. Zvei immediately gives up when his bluff is called, dropping Quark and letting him run back to everyone. Vanity goes to attack him and gets caught up in his tentacles, and Quark loses his cool and summons the Phantasmal Bar, putting Zvei on the outside of it and releasing Vanity. Zvei and Seymour have a horrible, tragic, upsetting breakup, before he walks down into the earth.
Afterparty
Quark opens up the bar and replicates some "food" (cw: cannibalism) for Riful. He then goes and checks in with some people, and finding Leb crying, goes and gets Cerejeira. At the end of the night, he ends up staring at some of the figurines from the DS9 model.
